Luminary
Definition
Astrology’s traditional name for the Sun and the Moon — the two brightest bodies seen from Earth and the only two in Lunaire’s tracked sky that never appear retrograde.
The luminaries are the chart’s two lamps: the Sun holds his steady flame; the Moon carries her changing lantern.
